Abstract

BLOOD SMEAR FROM A NEONATE
A wonderful series of histopathology data has been contributed by the Leicester Royal Infirmary Department of Histopathology. In particular, staff in the biochemistry laboratory have been enthusiastically involved in SCOOTER in terms of providing laboratory data, commentaries and talking-heads videos.

SCOOTER OER numbers 44 to 63 are simply JPG and PNG versions of the blood smears. These will be packaged up as case studies, quizzes and integrated as part of an educational game in due course.
