Abstract

A step-through guide for academics and non-technical developers of open educational resources on how to use Camtasia. ( http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia/). Camtasia is screen capture software (also known as screen grab or screen recorder), and can capture what you view on your PC or MAC screen plus record an audio narration.

Other types of screen capture servies are available, for example JING and SCREENR, although these will limit the time and size of the file, but quickly enable you to distribute your results through Twitter, YouTube and other social networks.
